 Adopt-a-Stream

Adopt-A-Stream works with citizens to support and develop projects in watersheds across the state that restore habitat and natural stream structure, protect flow and identify and prevent non-point source pollution. Adopt-A-Stream provides a suite of monitoring and restoration tools that help citizens become active stewards of their watersheds.

Every year the Adopt-A-Stream Program works to create new Stream Teams in watersheds across the state, involving volunteers, communities and businesses and leveraging work and funding on behalf of rivers and communities. Find out more about these Stream Teams, how to work with Adopt-A-Stream in your community and resources to protect your river
